Smokey & Sparkly Grey Eyes

Hi everyone :) Today i decided to do something a bit different using grey tones and a tiny bit of purple. This is super versatile as i think it can be worn for day or night time, and that tiny pop of purple makes it that little bit different from just a regular smokey eye.I hope you enjoy this and give it a go!

Products used: BFTE eyeshadow in "Suede",NYX eyeshadow in "in the woods" and "Root Bear", Urban Decay eyeshadow in "Cult",MAC eyeshadow in "Carbon,Urban Decay eye pencil in "Corrupt"

-First i applied eye primer over my eye lids, then using the "Corrupt" pencil (a dark grey-ish purple) i traced along the crease of my eye and made a slight wing shape in the corner.I also used the pencil on the outer half of my lower lashline.

-Next i used the colour "Root Beer" on a pencil brush and went over the area that i used the pencil on.This gives it a softer,smokey-er look.

-Then i used the colour "In the woods" on a flat eye shadow brush and patted the colour down in the center of the eye lid.

-After that i used the colour "Carbon" on a pencil brush and just applied it on the very outer corner of my eye, just to deepen the look.

-Next i used the colour "Suede" around the inner corner of my eye, then on a blending brush i used the "Cult" to blend out the colour above the crease of my eye.I used a smokey purple here because it made the look a little bit different but still wearable but i also found it softened the smokey eye alot too.

-Lastly i used liquid liner on my top lashline and i also lined my water line with black eye liner.I finished off with mascara and false lashes

  4. I love this look! Is it normal to put the darkest colour on first? I usually leave my crease and all the darkies/blacks until last.... Will have to try this method!

    1. Hi kimmy,it's totally up to you how you use you're darkest colour for me it normally depends on the look that I am doing, but in this instance I really wanted to cut and define my crease and I find I get more depth and intensity when I start off using a dark liner but whatever works best for you :)
