Smokey & Sparkly Grey Eyes

Hi everyone :) Today i decided to do something a bit different using grey tones and a tiny bit of purple. This is super versatile as i think it can be worn for day or night time, and that tiny pop of purple makes it that little bit different from just a regular smokey eye.I hope you enjoy this and give it a go!

Products used: BFTE eyeshadow in "Suede",NYX eyeshadow in "in the woods" and "Root Bear", Urban Decay eyeshadow in "Cult",MAC eyeshadow in "Carbon,Urban Decay eye pencil in "Corrupt"

-First i applied eye primer over my eye lids, then using the "Corrupt" pencil (a dark grey-ish purple) i traced along the crease of my eye and made a slight wing shape in the corner.I also used the pencil on the outer half of my lower lashline.

-Next i used the colour "Root Beer" on a pencil brush and went over the area that i used the pencil on.This gives it a softer,smokey-er look.

-Then i used the colour "In the woods" on a flat eye shadow brush and patted the colour down in the center of the eye lid.

-After that i used the colour "Carbon" on a pencil brush and just applied it on the very outer corner of my eye, just to deepen the look.

-Next i used the colour "Suede" around the inner corner of my eye, then on a blending brush i used the "Cult" to blend out the colour above the crease of my eye.I used a smokey purple here because it made the look a little bit different but still wearable but i also found it softened the smokey eye alot too.

-Lastly i used liquid liner on my top lashline and i also lined my water line with black eye liner.I finished off with mascara and false lashes

My 2 Favorite Beauty Products At The Moment!

Hi guys,i hope you are all having a fabulous week! I have to apologize for very few posts lately,i have started a new job and my lil baby girl has been sick so for lack of a better word life has been crazy at the moment!  Today i thought i would share with you my 2 very favorite-cant-live-without beauty items at the moment! Get ready to have you're mind blown because these will change you're life.Seriously.

Keune "Volume Powder"- I am obsessed with this at the moment i am using it on EVERYBODY! This is a powder that  goes into you're hair and it does 3 things:
-when applied throughout the hair it gives a crazy amount of volume, especially when applied to the roots.
-when used on the roots soaks up any oil in you're hair, acting as a dry shampoo.
-creates so much texture, better than any wax and can be used in any length!
I love this because i actually have very fine hair thats straight so without lots of product to boost it up it goes flat as a pancake...then when i put the product in it weighs my hair down and again goes flat. And then i found this little baby! It has the same styling effects as wax (but better) but without the weight of it,has hold and gives so much volume! And for those of you with long hair i would use this either on the root area to give volume or through the ends of you're hair if you lightly curl it and add some powder it will give you're hair a tousled beachy look. There are so many different company's that make this powder and after trying a few different types they all seem to do the same thing so dont feel like you have to get any particular brand...You MUST try this!

Beauty Blender Replica-I'm not sure if any of you have ever tried the beauty blender but in a nut-shell it was designed by makeup artist "Rea Ann Silva" to give the perfect finish to you're makeup without any streakiness and the unique shape is to help you get into the hard to reach places like around you're eyes and nose. I first read about this a couple of years ago and i always wanted to try it but i have never been overly keen on sponges and it retails for something like $30.I was not going to spend that on a freakin sponge! Then not too long ago i seen one advertised on ebay as a replica of the beauty blender for $2! I ended up buying it mainly to satisfy my curiosity and to be honest i really dont know if it is like the original Beauty Blender but i love this!!! I thought i would revert back to my favorite sigma foundation brush but i am so impressed with this.I have had so many complements lately about how flawless my skin looks and this is the reason.I even use this to apply my concealer now too.I normally wet the sponge first so it doesnt soak up my foundation, then i apply it to my face in a bouncing motion (stippling) i find this gives me the most smoothest, blended finish.I also always wash the sponge in baby shampoo after i have used it so there is no bacteria. I highly recommend this and for $2 what a bargain!

So thats my must-haves for the moment, have you tried either of these things? What did you think?
Thanks for stopping by!

Peacock Eyes

Hi guys, today i have done another look using mainly my "Fyrinnae" eyeshadows! The more i use these and have a play around with them, the more i love them! Next time i will be ordering some more natural colours but i am so happy with the ones that i got,i would highly recommend these eye shadows.
Todays look is "Peacock" inspired because when i was doing my makeup this morning i was looking at my Fyrinnae eye shadows and i noticed had mainly ordered Peacock colours, purple's,green's and blue's! This does not surprise me as even though i am deathly afraid of birds (Please don't hold this against me lol) i LOVE Peacocks!I always unintentionally gravitate towards these colours,i think they are so pretty! So i thought it was fitting that i did a peacock inspired look.I hope you enjoy this and try it out :)

Products used: Fyrinnae eye shadow in "Sorceress",MAC pigment in "Patina",Fyrinnae eye shadow in "Freya",MAC eye shadow in "Swiss Chocolate",Napoleon Perdis China Doll gel liner in "Copper",NYX jumbo eye pencil in "Dark Brown"

-First i applied eye primer over my eye lids then over the top of that i used my finger to apply and smudge out the "Dark Brown" pencil.I took the colour up just above the crease of my eye and it doesn't have to be perfect, its just a base.

-Next i used the colour "Sorceress" on a pencil brush and applied the colour around the crease of my eye and half way down my eye lid.The smokey-er and more dramatic you want the look the higher you want to take the colour and also allow a bit extra for when you blend the edges as this removes a bit of the colour.

-Next i used the colour "Patina" on a small eye shadow brush,i applied it on the inner corner (top and bottom) of my eye and just below the green-ish blue colour on the eye lid, didn't use it on the very outer corner of my eye though.

-Next on an eye shadow brush i used the colour "Freya" along my lower lash line stopping where the "Patina" starts. In this picture it looks like a dark blue but its actually purple.

-Then after that i used "Swiss Chocolate" on a blending brush and blended around any of the edges to soften the look.I also went over the "Freya" and "Sorceress" colours again to intensify the colour,i didn't repeat the entire process again, just patted down a little more colour.

-Lastly i applied the "Copper" liner along my water line as eye liner, liquid liner to my top lash line and also false lashes...and this is the finished result! What do you guys think?

On my cheeks i have used: Nars blush in "Orgasm"
"Center Stage" by Fyrinnae as my highlight

On my lips i have used "Turkish Delight" by Nars

Thanks a million for stopping by,i appreciate it so much! please comment and subscribe :)

My Favorite Nail Polishes At The Moment

Hi everyone,I hope you are all enjoying you're week! Today i decided to do a post about the kinds of nail polishes i am using at the moment. In my case i will use 3-4 colours TO DEATH for like 6 weeks then use completely different colours  and start a new nail polish-cycle. 3 out of the 4 are dark-ish colours and then there is a pretty pastel purple for my girly days lol I hope you like these,it may even give you some inspiration for you're next nail polish purchase! If you have any questions about any of the colours or any recommendations for other colours you like id love to hear you're thoughts so please leave you're comments below!

Left to right:Kleancolour "Pastel Purple",China Glaze "Avalanche",Kleancolour "Retro Green",Kleancolour "Mud Pie"

"Pastel Purple"-I love love this every single time i wear it i get so many complements and people asking me what colour it is! This colour has no shimmer or sparkle to it and i found even doing one coat was enough (i always do 2 though) I cannot get enough of Kleancolour nail polishes they apply so evenly, with lots of colour and no streakiness,do not chip and are so affordable, they have quickly becom my favorite nail polish brand!

"Avalanche"-To be completely honest im not crazy about China Glaze's formula with their polishes but they have such pretty colours so i continue to buy them..."Avalanche" was not easy to apply it was very streaky so i had to apply a few coats but it has made my favorites for a reason...this colour is stunning! To me this is a mix between a dark silver and a gunmetal colour its so pretty, and i also found it held up ok without chipping.

"Retro Green"-I have picked 3 out of 4 Kleancolour nail polishes as my favorites and with good reason,i love these lil babies! I am seriously running out of this colour i have used it that much! I love this because i usually favor dark nail polishes and this one almost looks black but its actually a deep green, and in some lights almost blue-ish it seems to almost change colour. It actually reminds me of that really stylish mood ring i had when i was in primary school lol nice...

"Mud Pie"-And last but not least my very fave! This nail polish is to die for...the photo does it no justice. Its actually like a glittery-chocolate-bronze with chunks of black glitter through it.Yep,it is even more amazing than it sounds! It takes about an hour to remove because of all that glitter but it is well worth it!

Well thats my favorite nail polishes for the time being i hope you enjoyed this, thankyou for stopping by and dont forget to subscribe!

Crimson Ghost Eyes

Hi guys i hope you are all having a fantastic week ,mine is going very quickly! Today i decided to use my Fyrinnae eyeshadows (yes,i have fallen in love with them!) to do this dusty-crimson-rose look which i think is so pretty! The main colour that i have used is the "Crimson Ghost",one of their ghost shades that work best being applied over other colours,so far i find that a black base works best.I hope you like the look and please tell me what you think i love to hear from you!

Products used: Fyrinnae "Pixie Hypoxy",NYX jumbo eye pencil in "Black Bean",Fyrinnae eyeshadows "Crimson Ghost","Meerkat","Tapir","Fire & Ice" (For full descriptions of these colours see my last post )

-To start with i applyed eye primer over my entire eye lids, then also around my entire eye i applied the "Black Bean" pencil, just with my finger around my whole eye.I then went around the edge of the black with my finger to soften the edges. It does look scary at this point but it will get better i promise :)

-Next i applied over the top of the black the "Pixie Hypoxie".This acts almost as a glue for the colour we are about to put on next,it makes it last longer and the colour more intense.I then took the "Crimson Ghost" on an eyeshadow brush and applied it to the center of the eyelid about a center meter wide.

-After that i used the colour "Tapir" and applied the colour everywhere the black is,it doesnt matter if any gets on the "Crimson Ghost" colour.
Then i used the "Meerkat" on a small eye shadow brush and applied it either side of the "Crimson Ghost" to blend the colour into the "Tapir".

-Next i went around the edges with a blending brush to soften them and make the colour look like its fading out.

-Lastly i applied liner to my top lashline by wetting an eyeliner brush and dipping it into the "Fire & Ice" colour and using that.I also used mascara and applied false lashes....and this is the finished result! what do you think?

This is how it looked all finished i used on my cheeks:
NYX blush in "Peach"
                        Fyrinnae highlight in "Centre Stage"

And on my lips i used:
NYX sheer tube gloss in "Barely There"

Fyrinnae Cosmetics:Why You MUST Check It Out!

Hi everyone! Today i thought i would share with you what i got from "Fyrinnae" cosmetics and tell you a little bit about them! First of all i am sooooo happy i found this company they are fabulous! I first found them just by referral from other beauty bloggers, and i just kept hearing such wonderful things so i had to give them a go! I got 20 mini eyeshadows,a highlight colour and "Pixie Hypoxy". They do mini versions of there eyeshadows which i think is such a great idea they are only $2 each and you get a very generous amount of eyeshadow.I got mini versions for the reason i could try more colours to see what i like and then if i really like a colour i can get the full size (which i think is around $5). For this order i got more statement colours, then next time i can get more naturals.Something else i am so impressed with is the highlight colour! As you may of read in one of my post's about the sigma "Paris" palette i loved the highlight colour in that but i have found my new favorite! i will post a swatch of it below but it is so pretty its a champagne-ish colour and just has a slight sheen instead of lotts of glitter,im not a fan of that on my cheeks. The last thing was the "Pixie Hypoxy" which was what i originally went on to the site to get. This is almost like an adhesive for loose eyeshadows and gives the colours a richer, foiled look and if you are a fan of glitter it stops the fallout. I also got free postage with my order and they are 100% cruelty free if that is something you look out for in a cosmetic company. One more thing before i show you the swatches, these colours where so hard to photograph! I almost didnt do swatches because the pictures just dont do the colours justice. That is probably the biggest thing i have noticed about these colours and what makes them so beautiful is there are just so many different levels and reflects of colour so no single picture can capture that but i did my best! I will put a * next to my favorites and i have applied all of the colours over "Pixie Hypoxie" and i did get some of the colour descriptions from the "fyrinnae" site

"Alchemist's Curse"-This shadow is pink sparkle on black but under different angles and lighting it becomes a vivid gold to green.  "Wicked"*-Deep dark purple with turquoise shimmer

"Are you my mummy?"-a vibrant gleaming Emerald Green then at another angle or light it turns to a deep pink almost maroon colour. "Sorceress"-This is a soft black shadow that changes from a brilliant aqua to a cool vibrant pink again depending on the angle/lighting.

"Fire & Ice"-Varying hues of pink and purple on black. "Monarch Butterfly"-Deep black with hues of reddish copper shimmer.

"Faerie Glamour"-Semi-matte violet base with an aqua shimmer that changes to a bright purple pink depending on the angle/light. "Lorem Ipsum"-Deep shimmery blue enhanced with lime green sparkle.

"Hyper Cool"*-Brilliant turquoise shimmer on black. "Tyr"-this is a chartreuse on black.

"Imortality"*-a rainbow of sparkle in soft black. "Bastet"-Deep velvety black filled with gold sparkle

"Meerkat"*-vibrant pink-purple with gold shimmer and sparkle. "Freya"*-Glowing warm purple with black.

"Tapir"*-A lush, deep, ruddy maroon. "Velvet Vampire"-this is a complex deep reddish hue with cool crimson and fiery red with gold shimmer. "Sake & Sashimi"-rich shimmering warm brown with a slight golden shimmer and flashes of green.

"Crimson ghost"*-the next three colours are "Ghost" colours, when applied over other bases they become a totally different colour. A satin-ey ivory pink in the jar but once applied it has a soft glow of light red shimmer in varying hues. on the right is applied over NYX's "Black Bean" pencil and on the left is on its own.

"Winter Again"-Semi sheer white with soft blue and turquoise shimmer. Looks very pale in the jar but once applied can give a ethereal aqua-blue glow, especially when applied wet. on the right is applied over "Black Bean" on the left is on its own.

"Jade ghost"-Satin-ey pale white green in the jar but once applied it has an iridescent glow of light green shimmer and a tough of sparkle.on the right is applied over "Black Bean" pencil on the left is on its own.

 This is the "Pixie Hypoxy"

This is a swatch of the highlight shade, the colour is "Center stage"

Lastly i have (very quickly) done 2 looks using some of the colours!
Colours used:Wicked,Faerie glamour,winter again

Colours used:Velvet vampire,Sake & Sashimi
