Femme Fatale Order Round 2

Hi guys, first of all do any of you watch pretty little liars? Some may say i am obsessed,i just look at myself as a dedicated fan....In my opinion this is the best TV series/book series. Ever. Anyways this post was meant to go up yesterday but i got sidetracked watching the last episode before the show goes on hiatus for a while  and let me just say WHAT THE? Do any of you watch it? The ending was so epic,i just dont know what to do with myself...What are you're thoughts were u literally as blown away as i was?
So while i get myself together i am going to share with you my 2nd order that i have received from Femme Fatale cosmetics.I was so impressed with the eyeshadows i received in my first order i was quick to place another one this time adding a nail polish to the mix!

Nail polish in "A Tisket,A Tasket"-A tisket, a tasket is a semi-opaque white polish with green shimmers and various glitter in pink, teal and green.

Time Lost-  It is a buttery smooth mid range brown with warm tones and a satin finish.
Rampage-   It has a vivid copper red shimmer over a burnt umber base, and is quite pigmented.

Cosmic Power-  this is a delicate rose peach with violet duochrome
Heroic- It is a soft copper-tinged peach based shadow, highlighted by an incredible golden shimmer. In the jar it leans more copper-peach, but once applied the golden finish really pops out, leaving it with a soft peach gold look

Illusions- It is a brown based shade with a hint of auburn undertones, and teal duochrome finish
Lady Of The Red-   It is a black based shade filled with red shimmers and sparks

Misdirection-  It is an emerald green with mossy green tones over a dark base, and is complimented by a subtle scattering of copper sparkles.
Temporal Shift- It is a black based shade with striking golden duochrome that almost looks green

Dispersion- It is a deep mulberry with bold teal blue shimmer
Fire Opal- It is a sheer white with strong copper orange shimmer and sparkles

Emerald Dream-  It is a bright paris green bordering on teal with a very subtle golden green shine.
The Dreamer- It is a striking blend of olive green and metallic apple green.

And these are the samples i was sent
Bloods shadow-It is a black based shade full of gold, blue and pink sparkles
Flare-  It is an intense scarlet with a hint of coral, highlight by a heavy green gold duochrome.
Crimson Fury-  It is a deep red-violet base with purple tones and a blue duochrome shine
Amber Eyes-It is a very pale coral with peach and pink tones, and a subtle green finish

That is everything i picked up what do you think? My favorites are Dispersion,Illusions and Lady of the red what are you'res? Thankyou so much for stopping by and dont for get to leave you're comments below!

My Simple Everyday Eye Makeup Routine

Hi everyone! I thought i would do a bit of a different post today showing you how i do my eye makeup day-to-day,especially when i am in a mad rush trying to get out the door!
Mornings are hard for me,as they are any other mum so i dont have a great deal of time to get myself ready. So when it comes to makeup that gets placed waaaaaaay down the bottom of my priorities list but with my job (a hairdresser) i cant just bounce into work with my hair in a pony tail and no makeup on,there has to be a degree of effort put into my appearance lol.
Since i have had indie i have mastered the art of getting my makeup completely finished in 5 mins flat (which i think is an accomplishment in itself) and that is eyeshadow and everything.Eyeshadow is something that i always wear everyday,i feel naked if i dont! So todays look is showing you how i wear my eye's pretty much most days, its super quick and easy but still looks like you have put more time and effort in than what you actually have. The eyeshadows that i have used aren't ones that i use every single time, but i do gravitate towards very similar tones (nearly always warm) and colours.I hope you enjoy this,it may even help you cut down you're day to day makeup time!

Rroducts used: BFTE eyeshadow in "Truffle",Femme Fatale eyeshadows in "Inscribe","Incantation" and "Heroic"

-To start with i used a blending brush with "Truffle" on it and i just blended around the crease area, this is flattering on everyone and takes no time at all.

-Next i used "Inscribe" on a flat eyeshadow brush.I applied the colour nearly all over the top and bottom lids except the outer and inner corners.

-After that i used "Incantation" on a pencil brush and i just blended the colour in around the outer corner of my eye (dont worry if the edges are messy as a time saver we will do that all at the end)

-Then on a small eyeshadow brush i used "Heroic" and just applied that colour around the inner corner of my eye. After that just using a bit of translucent powder on a blending brush, blend around any edges that need  cleaning up.

-Lastly i lined my lashline with liquid liner and applied my mascara.

I hope you liked this look and thankyou for stopping by!

Another look using Femme Fatale Eyeshadows...

Today I thought I would do another look using my Femme Fatale Eyeshadows which I am LOVING! I am still having a play around with the but so far I
Am very impressed! Two of the main colors I have used for this look are actually colours that were free samples that came with my order, normally I don't pay too much attention to them (I hate those little baggies!) but these were so pretty so I had to use them.I dont often wear blue on my eyes either but this blue is such a beautiful sapphire blue i couldnt resist! I hope you like the look and try it out for you're self :)

Eyeshadows used: all by Femme Fatale "Moonglow","Eternal Trance","Endless Winter","Spark of Life"

-To start with i applied eye primer over my eye lids, then using the colour "EndlessWinter" on a pencil brush (i used a wet brush to make the colour more intense) then i traced around the crease of my eye and also going along the outer half of my lash line,i also made a tiny wing on the outer corner.

-Next blended along the edges of where i did the "Endless Winter" with a clean blending brush.I then used a small wet eyeshadow brush with the colour "Moonglow"on it. I applied that around the inner corner of my eye.

-After that i used "Spark of life" ,again on a wet brush and i applied that   next to and slightly over lapping the "Moonglow"

-I then used "Eternal Trance" (This is my very fave Femme Fatale colour!) on a small eyeshadow brush and patted the colour in between "Endless Winter"and "Spark of life",this colour blends the other colours in beautifully.I also pressed a bit of that same colour down in the middle of my lower lash line.
Note:  I didnt wet my brush when using this colour it is so pigmented i didnt want to intensify it any more.

-To finish off i applied a thin line of liquid liner to my top lash line,to my bottom lashline i wet an eye liner brush and used the colour "Eternal Trance" as eyeliner.I also applied a few coats of Mascara and a strip of false lashes.

Well thats todays look finished i hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to comment and subscribe :)

Smokbomb Eyes- A Look using Femme Fatale Eyeshadows

Hey girls,i hope you're week has been kind to you! Today i have created a look using some of the eyeshadows i purchased from "Femme Fatale Cosmetics".I had alot of fun playing around with these, especially since these eyeshadows have so many colour shifts to them like "Wisp" one of the colours i have used for this look under some lighting it looked like a true silver, then under other lighting it would look quite blue.I love that in an eyeshadow! Something else i thought i might mention too,is if you "Like" the Femme Fatale Facebook page the sales that they have will pop up in you're news feed, and who doesnt want to snap up a bargain! Anyways on to the makeup,i hope you like this look!

Products used: Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in "Zero","Pixie Epoxy" by Fyrinnae,Femme Fatale eyeshadows in "The Nightmare","Smokebomb","Wisp","Moonglow" and "Inscribe"

-First i applied eye primer over my eyelids, then using the "Zero" eyeliner i traced around the crease of my eye not taking it all the way in i also made a little wing on the outside of my eye,

-Next i dabbed a tiny bit of the "Pixie Epoxy" on my finger then patted it on to my eyelid.I used this when ever i am using loose eye shadows, its almost like an adhesive and makes the colours brighter and richer.
I then used "The Nightmare" on a pencil brush and applied that over the top of the "Zero" Pencil.

-After that i used "Smokebomb" on a flat eyeshadow brush and patted that colour down on the outer half of my eyelid (top and bottom) it also over lapped a little over "The Nightmare".

-Next i used "Wisp" on a small eyeshadow brush taking the colour almost all the way into the inner corner of my eye,the idea is for the colours to be slightly over lapping so you want to pat a little of that colour over the top of the edge of "Smokebomb"

-After that i used "Moonglow"on a small eyeshadow brush and applied that     all around the inner corner of my eye.I also used "Inscribe" on a small blending brush and blended around the outer half of "The Nightmare"

-Lastly i applied liquid liner to my lashline (L'Oreal carbon black lineur intense),i used the "Zero" eyeliner on my water line and applied mascara (Cover Girl lash blast) and false lashes.

What do you guys think? I LOVE these eyeshadows! Thankyou so much for stopping by and dont forget to comment below :)

The Easy Way To Chalk You're Hair AKA Unicorn Hair!

Hi pretty's! Today i thought i would do a how-to on hair chalking.I have recently become quite obsessed with this technique its super easy, washes out in 1-2 washes and looks freaking Ah-ma-zing!

What you will need:

  • Pastels, whatever colours and as many colours as you like
  • A squirty  bottle of water
  • A glass of water
  • Hairdryer
  • Hair Straightener
  • 2 sectioning clips
  • shine spray (optional)

-First start by brushing out you're hair so there are no knots, then spritz the water spray where ever you intend to chalk the hair.Dont saturate the hair, just dampen it.

-Next section you're hair off starting at the bottom,i would say about 1-2 inches thick.

-Then you want to select the colours you want to use,i chose a light blue,a cobalt blue and a purple.when you have picked you're colours dip the end of the pastel into the glass of water to wet the tip then you want to run the pastel along the hair shaft in a downwards motion (backwards and forwards will matt the hair).I chose to only chalk the ends of the hair.
Note: if you want a paler/pastely colour dont dip the pastel into the glass of water i just did this to intensify the colour.

-When you have finished chalking that section keep going throughout the hair until you are finished, then lightly  dry the hair with a blow dryer to dry off any dampness left in the hair.

-Next i loosely curled the ends of the hair with my hair straightener, this helps to set the colours in place and lastly i spritzed the hair with shine spray (i did this because the pastels can look a little dry)

And this is the finished result! The top picture is before i curled my beautiful model Brooke's hair and the bottom is after.

What do you think? Will you be trying this? Thanks so much for stopping by,dont forget to leave you're comments below!
